Rain wiped out the reserve day in the NCCA T20 finals at Chester Boughton Hall.
It left Cumbria unable to complete their innings after they had been 96-8 chasing 127 for victory against Oxfordshire.
There were only 13 balls left to be delivered when rain forced the players off on Sunday and it was impossible to resume today.
The other semi-final, between Staffordshire and Berkshire never even had chance to start.
It means that the competition will be staged at a future date and venue, which still have to be announced.
That suggests that it will be starting from scratch and that Cumbria, very much the underdogs with the state of play when it ended last night, will get another chance.
