Kendal Town have announced their pre-season friendlies which will entail seven matches, five of them at home.
One of the opposition still has to be confirmed but Kendal say they will be playing a home game at Parkside Road on Saturday, July 6.
The first friendly is on Friday June 28 when Kendal will travel to Caton United, who play in the West Lancashire League Division Two.
On Tuesday July 2 the Mintcakes will travel to Dalton United, who also play in the West Lancashire League Division Two.
The big game comes up on Tuesday, July 9 when Carlisle United take a side to Parkside Road and on the Saturday, July 13 it’s Whitehaven from the West Lancashire League Premier Division.
Garstang, from the North West Counties First Division North, who have just appointed former Barrow defender Guy Heffernan as manager will visit on Tuesday, July 16.
To complete the programme Atherton Collieries, recently relegated from the NPL Premier Division to NPL West, will provide the visiting opposition.
Kendal Town are preparing for Wednesday’s appeal against their lateral move into the Northern League, but whatever the outcome those friendlies will remain.
They had pencilled in earlier to play Carlisle City and Penrith but because they are both in the Northern League, and they might play them if their appeal is unsuccessful, they have been erased from the list.
However, they fervently hope they will be allowed to stay in the North West Counties.
