Police seized a knuckleduster after an incident at a West Cumbrian McDonald’s.

Officers were called to the Whitehaven branch of the fast food chain yesterday, Friday, June 14, and arrested two men on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

Copeland Police said: “The knuckleduster was seized and taken off the streets before it could cause someone serious harm.”

Police were also called to a report of two men fighting in a shop on Meadow Road in the town, and one man was arrested on suspicion of causing fear or provocation of violence.
