
Barrow have announced an attractive pre-season programme with seven games planned between July 6 and August 3.
New manager Steve Clemence will have time to assess his squad against some interesting opposition.
They start with a local affair on Saturday July 6, making the short trip to play neighbours Holker Old Boys, members of the North West Counties First Division North.
A week later they visit FC United of Manchester who currently play in the NPL Premier Division.
The Bluebirds go over the border on Friday, July 19 to play the Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock, for whom this will be their sixth pre-season friendly.
On Tuesday July 23 Barrow will host Stockport County who were promoted from League Two last season as champions.
They will then finish off with three more home games – Saturday, July 27 v Real Union Club; Tuesday, July 30 v AFC Fylde and Saturday, August 3 v Wigan Athletic.
