A West Cumbrian man has appeared in court charged with child sex offences.
Leeroy Sheehan, 41, of Henry Street, Cleator Moor, was arrested in Whitehaven yesterday, Monday June 17.
He was charged with:
- Arranging/facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence
- Attempting to meet a girl under 16 years of age following grooming
- Attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child
He appeared at North and West Cumbria Magistrate’s today, Tuesday June 18, and has been remanded in custody to appear on July 22.
