Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a well-loved goose in Whitehaven.
The goose – known in the town as Billy – was found dead on the harbourside on November 17 last year.
Two teenage boys were arrested in connection with the death and now remain on bail.
The youngsters were arrested on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal after concerns were raised over images circulating on social media.
