Barrow Raiders have taken Workington Town’s half-back/hooker Blain Marwood on a two-week loan.
In exchange, Raiders’ Mike Ogunwole has joined the League One side as the forward has been short of game-time in the Championship.
Blain, the son of the former Town half-back Dean, made his Workington debut in 2019 and has gone on to make 33 appearances for the club, including five so far this season.
Barrow signed London-born Ogunwole on a 12-month deal earlier this year, following a successful trial period with the club.
Of Nigerian heritage he operates primarily as a loose forward and centre, starting to play rugby league at the age of 13 after some time in rugby union, and was soon accepted into the London Broncos scholarship system.
He stepped away from the sport at the age of 16 but was brought back into the fold by the British army and Nigerian national team over the last two years.

Barrow say they hope the move to Town will give the forward a chance to get more game time under his belt while the same applies to Marwood with the Raiders.
Injury-hit Town have also been able to add another new face to the squad ahead of Sunday’s home game with Keighley Cougars.
They have gone back to Rochdale Hornets to sign outside back Joe Hartley on an initial two-week loan deal.
He joins Hornets team-mate Tommy Brierley, who has played the last two games for Town – scoring on his debut – and his loan has been extended.

Hartley, 25, is a former Oldham St Annes amateur who turned pro with Oldham Roughyeds in 2021 and he spent three seasons with the club before joining Rochdale ahead of this season.
He has scored nine tries in 10 appearances this season for the Hornets but hasn’t featured since the 24-18 victory at Newcastle Thunder last month.
