
Police are investigating an attempted robbery in Barrow.
It happened at the junction of School Street and Ramsden Street on Sunday, June 30, at about 1.30am.
A man, in his 40s, was approached by two men. They were aged in their early 20s and spoke with eastern European accents.
They asked for the man’s phone and wallet but he did not give them anything.
The victim was then punched, sustaining cuts and bruises to his face.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant dashcam footage, doorbell footage or CCTV is asked to come forward.
