A survey has been launched for members of the LGBTQI+ community in Cumbria to share their experiences.
Pride in North Cumbria has launched the survey to help it identify challenges facing LGBTQI+ individuals in areas like healthcare, education, and employment; and needs and gaps in current services.
The last major survey in the local area was done by the then Cumbria County Council in 2011.
The survey is anonymous and confidential and takes around 10 minutes to complete.
The charity hopes as many LGBTQI+ people in the county as possible respond to it.
A spokesman said: “The findings will be used to determine areas requiring more funding or development; ways to overcome challenges and discrimination; advocate for increased support and inclusion for the LGBTQI+ community, and to have a major impact on the improvement and development of future services in Cumbria that can be utilised by many organisations.
