The top three teams in the West Cumbria Fours League, sponsored by Whitehaven Trophies, were not in action on Friday.

The scheduled top of the table match between Workington A and Whitehaven A was postponed and Fitz Park had no scheduled match.

In the other matches Cleator Moor defeated Workington B 7-0; Whitehaven B beat Vulcan Park 5-2 and Maryport won 5-2 at Seaton.

So the latest league standings are (games played and points): Workington A 12-72, Whitehaven A 12-64, Fitz Park 11-59, Maryport 13-45, Cleator Moor 12-43, Seaton 12-27, Workington B 11-23, Whitehaven B 14-23, Vulcan Park 11-21.

In the West Cumbria Mixed Triples League it’s Workington and Whitehaven A who lead the way as well and both enjoyed 7-2 victories on Tuesday.

Both were on their own rinks where Workington beat Harris Park A while Whitehaven A beat Seascale.

The other results were: Harris Park B 7, Maryport 2; Wigton 9, Seaton 0; Egremont 8, Vulcan Park 1; Cleator Moor 5, Whitehaven B 4.

League standings (games played and points): Workington 8-56, Whitehaven A 8-53, Wigton 8-51, Croft 9-49, Harris Park A 10-41, Cleator Moor 9-40, Whitehaven B 8-39, Maryport 9-38, Seaton 8-36, Seascale 8-33, Harris Park B 9-26, Egremont 8-22, Vulcan Park 8-13.
