As Bansky grips the national imagination with his latest series of work in London, Carlisle is making its own mark with public art.
Blank Wall Assassins, a not-for-profit organisation, and Eden Arts teamed up with wall artist Dotmaster to transform a building in the city.
The building on Clifford Street will be visible to people using Castle Way.

Blank Wall Assassins wants to inspire people through world class public art in Carlisle.
It says: “We believe that everyone should have access to meaningful cultural experiences, and we are driven by the belief that incredible art should not be confined to galleries and museums.”
It has brought several world-class artists to the city and people can tour over 19 artworks around Carlisle.
