
Wigton have thrown a spanner into the works in the West Cumbria Mixed Triples League.
In a match which should have been played on 18 June at title-chasing Workington but was postponed, Wigton produced a fine performance to win 6-3.
It left Workington five points behind leaders Whitehaven A but with a match in hand, while Wigton drew level with the Low Green team, but from a game more.
