Barrow Raiders continue battle to escape danger zone in Betfred Championship

Barrow Raiders entertain Toulouse Olympique tomorrow as the south Cumbrians battle to move out of the danger zone in the Betfred Championship.

It’s an important fixture for Paul Crarey’s side who sit in 11th place in the table, one point above Whitehaven who currently occupy the relegation play-off spot.

The Raiders battled well before losing 38-16 in the south of France over three months ago, and they will be hoping to replicate their efforts but with a win when the Frenchmen visit Cumbria.

There’s just one change to the 21-man squad this week-end as Charlie Emslie returns for the first time since April when he suffered a bicep tear during the match against Doncaster.

Ryan Brown is the only absentee from the 21 named ahead of last Sunday’s trip to Featherstone Rovers.

Raiders squad: Luke Broadbent, Andrew Bulman, Greg Burke, Brett Carter, Max Clarke, Luke Cresswell, Charlie Emslie, Ellis Gillam, Delaine Gittens-Bedward, James Greenwood, Ryan Johnston, Jamie Pye, Ryan Shaw, Aaron Smith, Jarrad Stack, Shane Toal, Brad Walker, Tom Walker, Tom Wilkinson, Josh Wood, Greg Worthington.
