A man has been arrested after a girl was subjected to racial abuse on a Cumbrian street.
The incident happened on Murray Road in Workington on September 2 at around 4pm.
Police said a man in his 40s was racially abusive to a young woman, while she was with a group of friends.
A man was later arrested, and an investigation is ongoing.
Police are appealing for any witnesses.
