A cat has died after it was attacked by a dog on a West Cumbrian town field.
Police are investigating the incident, which happened on the back field in Salterbeck, Workington, yesterday, Monday September 16, at around 7pm.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about who owns the dog, which was described as a black lurcher.
