Bamber Bridge, who won at Workington 10 days ago, have had to set up an online fundraiser with a plea for fans to help save them.
They won 2-1 after Workington had produced a shocking first-half performance in which the visitors scored their two goals.
Bamber Bridge say they are reaching out to the football community, looking for urgent fundraising.
They have set the goal at £30,000 to keep the club afloat for the upcoming season.
They currently sit 10th in their division with 14 points from 10 games played (W4 D2 L4), which is a better start than how they ended last season, finishing 16th with 47 points from 40 games.
In the end they were 17 points clear of the drop zone and 23 points from the play-offs.
Manager Jamie Milligan has said the club needs vital new investment and believes it is currently walking a financial tightrope.
Having formed a new-look young squad with a sprinkling of experience over the summer Milligan only has one player tied to a contract.
His entire squad is at the mercy of other clubs who fancy a seven-day approach for any of the players.
He almost guided the club to promotion in 2023 when they finished in third spot in the final league table, narrowly losing to Warrington Town 1-0 in the subsequent play-off final.
However, that near-miss resulted in a large proportion of his key players being picked off by other clubs.
