Landscape artist Peter Symonds will be marking his 25th anniversary of partnership with a Cumbrian gallery this month.
Peter has been working with Beckstones Art Gallery, at Greystoke Ghyll near Penrith, for a quarter of a century and his 10th solo exhibition there opens this weekend.
It will open on Saturday, October 5, and runs until Sunday October 20, featuring 26 new oil paintings of the Lake District.
Peter is considered by many to be one of the truly great landscape artists of his time, indeed his Lake District scenes have been described as ‘unmatched’ by his former mentor, wildlife artist David Shepherd.
