A woman has appeared at a Carlisle court accused of conspiring to supply drugs as part of a criminal enterprise which saw them imported from abroad and trafficked across the UK — including Cumbria.
Thirty-year-old Magdalena Sadlo, a former Love Island contestant in Poland’s version of the hit television show, faces a total of four charges.
Three allege that she conspired to supply three different controlled drugs — cocaine, cannabis and ketamine— between May 25 2023, and February 15 this year.
A fourth charge alleges money laundering — specifically that she conspired to conceal/disguise/convert/transfer/remove criminal property during the same dates.
Sadlo, of Ingleton, Bracknell, appeared at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
No pleas were entered to any of the four charges.
Sadlo’s case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court, where she is due to appear in front of a judge later this month. In the meantime she has been remanded in custody.
