A new car and van rental firm has opened in Carlisle by a well-established county business.
Hobans has opened its self-drive vehicle business in Carlisle, with the aim of becoming the go-to solution for people’s needs.
With over a century of travel expertise to its name, the family firm said the expansion of its business was a natural step for it.
Based on Church Street, between McVities and Sainsbury’s, people can rent vehicles by the day, a week, or longer.
It has a comprehensive fleet of vans, minibuses and cars, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, available.
Mike Allan, general manager, said: “Our aim is to provide a personal service based on great value and a no-nonsense approach to what we do, no hidden charges.
“For example, for small firms, having a van in the garage for repairs can have a direct impact on the business.
“We can organise hire of a vehicle quickly, and with no fuss, so that impact is minimised.”
