People are invited to a drop-in session this week to talk about the next phase of roadworks on Cleator Main Street.
Part of a £14.3m Government-funded scheme, the 10-week programme began on the A5086 on September 23 under temporary traffic lights.
A full road closure came into force on Monday, October 28, as the road is not wide enough to allow traffic to pass while work is ongoing.
A path has been provided for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
The work includes significant upgrades, such as road network repairs, drainage replacement, traffic sign updates, and refreshing of road markings.
This session will offer people the chance to learn more about upcoming enhancements and to speak directly with project managers and technicians.
It takes place tomorrow, Friday November 1 between 4pm and 6pm at the Jubilee Rooms in Cleator.
The next phase of work will start on Monday November 4, and will continue until Tuesday December 3, weather permitting.
It includes significant upgrades, such as road network repairs, drainage replacement, traffic sign updates, and refreshing road markings.
Cumberland Council said it encouraged residents and business owners to attend the drop-in session, to gain insights into the project, ask questions, and engage with the experts managing the scheme.
