A late winner from West Ham loanee Patrick Kelly earned Doncaster a 1-0 win at Barrow in the FA Cup.
The Northern Irish youngster was calm when he drilled the ball home from close range in the 83rd minute
Doncaster had other opportunities before then, with most falling to Luke Molyneux who was particularly wasteful.
He had been unlucky early on when he did find the net but it was chalked off for offside.
Dean Campbell went closest for Barrow when he was just wide with a well-struck effort.
Molyneux found the side-netting from a free-kick just before the end of a goal-less first half.
Barrow keeper Wyll Stanway denied Molyneux after the break when he dealt well with a header.
Barrow had a good spell which Sam Foley brought the best out of Doncaster’s Chelsea loanee keeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe who tipped a strong shot past the post.
Then Neo Eccleston was even closer when he smashed a shot against the bar.
After Stanway produced a great save to keep out a rocket from Jordan Gibson it was Kelly who won it for Doncaster when he turned home Harry Clifton’s pass.
