Kendal Town boss Jimmy Marshall is expecting a different Guisborough side when the Mintcakes meet up again with them on Saturday.
They met three times in a week earlier in the season with League, FA Cup and a replay when Kendal were unbeaten with two draws and a win.
But Marshall said: “They’ve got a new manager now and a few fresh players so I don’t think we can look at anything from earlier on.
“We will look at them as part of our preparations and I know it will be tough because it’s a tough place to go.
“But I know nobody will look forward to playing us the way we are performing at the moment.
“I was very pleased with the 4-0 win at Whickham on Saturday. Always nice to score goals, especially away from home, but the clean sheet was the bonus.
“The thing is we have lads fighting for places and the competition is good among them. Even if you’re competing against your mate for a shirt and that’s what we’ve got at the moment.
“It is a squad game and we have some good lads on the bench every week who can come on and give us fresh legs and make a difference.”
Josh Winder, James Bailey, Matt Dudley and Finley Lynch scored in the 4-0 win at Whickham on Saturday, a victory which took Kendal to fifth in the table.
