Two Cumbrian hotels have been named among the best in the UK.
Winners of the prestigious Condé Nast Awards for Excellence 2025 were announced last night at a ceremony in London.
Storrs Hall, on the shores of Windermere, was named Best Waterside Hotel.
Andrew Nicholson, general manager of Storrs Hall, said: “It’s wonderful to see Storrs Hall hold its own on a global stage and we are extremely proud to win this award.
“We’ve always believed our setting is what sets us apart and this, combined with our service, makes Storrs Hall an incredibly special place.”
Farlam Hall, near Brampton, was given the Readers Choice title in the prestigious awards.
