A Cumbrian butcher has been hailed for its haggis at a major Scottish awards ceremony.
Dales Traditional Butchers in Kirkby Lonsdale scooped the title at the weekend for the second year in a row at the Oban Winter Festival.
It was the first English butchers to win a Scottish Haggis tile last year and the first to win this illustrious title two consecutive years in a row!
Sean Gibson, of the butchers, said the journey was not without its challenges. It took him five hours to reach the competition during Storm Bert – facing fierce winds, heavy rain, and even snow.
The butchers said: “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our loyal customers and supporters. Your unwavering encouragement drives us to continue perfecting our craft and providing the highest quality products.”
