A woman has been banned from a number of Barrow shops for two years.
Maigan Print, 35, has been handed a criminal behaviour order by magistrates after it was requested by the town’s neighbourhood policing team.
Print cannot enter:
- Any Aldi stores in Barrow
- Any Home Bargains stores in Barrow
- Any Co-Op in Barrow
- Iceland in Barrow
- New Look in Barrow
- The Range in Barrow
- B&M Bargains on Dalton Road, in Barrow
- Curry’s in Barrow
- Tesco on Rawlinson Street, Barrow
There is also a condition banning Print from concealing any item for sale on her person in any bag prior to payment being made at any retail premises.
Sergeant Paul Homes, of Barrow Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The behaviour demonstrated by Print will not be tolerated and we hope by securing this Criminal Behaviour Order it will provide the local community with some reassurance.
“The order will prevent Print from further criminality and help protect business owners and local residents.
“This is a great outcome for the team and I would encourage anyone who witnesses Maigan Print breaching terms of the order to contact police.”
Breaches of the conditions of an order can lead to an arrest and punishment can be up to five years in prison. Anyone with any information regarding breaches can contact police via 101.
