
A woman was hit by a car while crossing a road in Maryport – and police want to find the elderly driver.
It happened on Saturday, November 16 at around 5pm.
The woman was crossing Mealpot Road junction leading on to Curzon Street, when she was struck by a small silvery blue car.
The woman was hit to her left side and went over the bonnet, causing injury.
The driver is described as an elderly woman.
Police are trying to identify the driver and identify anyone who may have seen the incident.
