
Peter Kildemand, who cut his teeth on British speedway with Workington Comets, is coming back to the UK.
The former Grand Prix star is returning to the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership with Oxford Spires next season.
The 35-year-old Dane, who won two GPs in the mid-2010’s, was part of Swindon’s victorious top-flight side in 2012.
His last spell in British Speedway was with Poole in 2018, although he had been due to race for King’s Lynn in 2022 before suffering a pre-season injury.
Oxford manager Peter Schroeck said: “He is one of the most exciting guys in the Premiership.
“Peter is a great addition to the Spires team, and everyone is really excited. I am sure that all of the Oxford fans will welcome his never-give-up attitude on track.”
Nicknamed The Spiderman when he rode for the Comets he was a Derwent Park favourite in 2010 and 2011 before he switched to Coventry
