With all the football in the county postponed on Saturday, the West Cumberland County League manged to fit in three games 24 hours later.
The rest were called off but in the three that were played there was a major setback to the Premier Division title hopes of Dearham Commercial.
Victory would have taken them second in the table but they were well beaten 7-3 at Moresby Rangers after trailing 3-1 at half-time.
Ellis Trotter (3), Thomas Houghton (2) and Jamie Martin (2) scored the Moresby goals with James Langstaff, Danny Dryden and Jack Basnett netting for Dearham.
The villagers have it all to do now after such a great start to the season, sitting 10 points behind leaders Northside and just two games in hand.
Deer Orchard are still in the best position to challenge champions Northside, sitting second – nine points in arrears with four games in hand.
County champions Parkside have been showing much better form of late after a nightmare start to the season but they were out of sorts again on Sunday, going down 4-1 at Lowca Pirates. Jay Weatherill scored their only goal.

Lowca picked up the points with goals from Robbie Swinburn, Owen Woodburn, Travis Fyfe and a Dean McConagle own goal.
There was just the one game in Division One in which Thornhill had an 8-0 home win over the bottom side Borough Miners.
Harry Hodgson (2), Andrew Begbie, Lewis Selkirk, Rob Davidson, Jack Wordsworth, Reece Bewley and Jack Rose scored for Thornhill.
