A Lake District hotel has been ranked among the best hotels in the world by prestigious awards.
Linthwaite House have been ranked among the top 25 hotels from around the globe in five categories of the prestigious Luxury Lifestyle Magazine (LLM) Readers’ Travel Awards 2024.
The LLM Readers’ Travel Awards, now in their seventh year, are designed to shine a spotlight across 29 award categories on the very best hotels, airlines, tour operators and sought-after destinations around the globe.
During the process, shortlisted nominees are narrowed down by an expert panel of judges, according to a strict set of criteria, before LLM’s readers then pick their favourites from the shortlisted finalists and reward those fortunate to feature.
This year, after months of deliberation by the judges followed by votes from a record 32,405 of LLM’s readers the votes have been counted and the results are in.
Linthwaite House ranked in the top 25 in all five of the categories the Lake District hotel was shortlisted in:
- Ranking 4th out of 7 finalists in the Best Hotel for Golf category
- Ranking 11th out of 78 finalists in the Best Hotel for Food category
- Ranking 15th out of 36 finalists in the Best Hotel for Nature Lovers category
- Ranking 17th out of 49 finalists in the Best Boutique Hotel category
- Ranking 21st out of 72 finalists in the Best Hotel for Romance category
