Three people injured in a suspected gas explosion in West Cumbria remain in a critical condition in hospital.
Cumbria Local Resilience Forum said the trio were in a stable condition.
A loud bang had been heard right across the town and as far away as Cleator Moor.
Residents were evacuated and emergency services, Cumberland Council and Northern Gas Networks were at the scene to help make it safe.
The forum had previously said those injured were two men and a woman – but it was two women and a man.
The man and a woman are in their 70s and the other woman is in her 50s.
Work remains ongoing to make the area safe and an investigation into the cause of the explosion has been launched.
A cordon remains at the scene.
Fundraisers have been launched to support the people affected by the explosion.
