Police are appealing for people to come forward with information after they received reports of attempted burglaries in Kendal overnight.
Officers are investigating the reports of vehicle interference and attempted burglary in the areas of Dale Avenue and Shap Road between midnight and 3am yesterday, Thursday January 2.
It was reported that a man was in the area trying vehicle and property door handles.
Cumbria police said: “We are appealing for witnesses and for any CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam which you may hold from midnight until 3am on January 2 2025.
“We do not need you to review the footage and will review this ourselves. We ask that if you do possess any CCTV or remember anything out of the ordinary from that night (even if that information may seem insignificant to you) that you contact police.”
