A serious assault in Carlisle left a man needing surgery.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened outside Stackers on Botchergate on Wednesday November 20 at around 11pm.
The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries and was hospitalised, requiring surgery.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw the incident or was in the area at the time to come forward.
