Emergency services were at the scene of a collision on the A595.
Our colleagues at Cumbria Road Watch are reporting that the A595 was blocked in both directions following the collision at the Red Dial crossroads with the B5304 yesterday, Saturday January 11.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service was at the scene.
The road has now reopened.
