Could you adopt in 2025 and change a child’s story?

Cumbria Adoption is asking anyone who is considering growing their family through adoption in 2025 to get in touch today or find out more at an event in February.

Whether you’re considering adoption for the first time or looking to expand your family, Cumbria Adoption would love to hear from you.

Adoption is not just about giving a child a home; it’s about providing a future full of love, security, and possibilities. By adopting, you can change a child’s story — and in turn, your own.

For anyone thinking about adoption, Cumbria Adoption has experienced teams who can offer a wide range of services and support through the assessment and approval process to being matched with a child, and throughout the child’s journey through to adulthood and beyond.

While we need adopters for children of all ages in Cumbria, there is a particular need for adopters for children who tend to wait longest for a loving home, including brothers and sisters who need to live together, older children and children with additional or complex health needs.

Agency service manager Ruth McHugh would urge people who are interested in adoption to make contact.

She said: “We’re encouraging anyone considering adoption to get in touch or attend one of our upcoming information events and start your journey with us today.

“Our friendly teams are more than happy to help and answer any questions that you may have. We would love to hear from you.”

If you would like to find out more you can attend our next online information event on Wednesday February 12 at 6pm.
