A man has been arrested in connection with an incident near a north Cumbrian primary school.
A man, wearing a dark jacket and hat, was reported to have spoken to children on School Road, in the vicinity of Cumwhinton Primary School, near Carlisle, on Thursday January 16 between 5pm and 5.45pm.
Cumbria police said they were investigating and a man had been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing for any information in relation to the man described and any CCTV or dashcam footage for the area of School Road between 4.45pm and 5.45pm on January 16.
