A 31-year-old man has been arrested following an assault on a girl in her late teens in Kendal.
Police were contacted after the girl was assaulted by the suspension bridge between Mintsfeet and Dockray Industrial Estate at about 6.15pm to 6.20pm yesterday, January 26.
Police said the man, from Blackpool, has been arrested on suspicion of committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence.
The woman was not seriously hurt but has been left shaken by the assault, police said.
