Complaints about bad parking near a Workington school have sparked a warning that action will be taken.
Allerdale police’s neighbourhood policing team said it carried out patrols near Workington Academy today following the complaints – especially about parking on double yellow lines and grass verges.
They said: “They potentially obstruct passing vehicles heading into the town centre.”
Cumberland enforcement team will be out in force in the coming weeks and will take robust action, Allerdale police said.
