Walking access on Whitehaven Harbour has been restricted.
Whitehaven Marina said the restriction is in place after preparation work for this year’s lock closure has been delayed following recent poor weather.
Pedestrian access will not be possible across the lock gates between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday until further notice while maintenance remains ongoing.
The free flow flag will be flown while access is not possible.
The Marina team has apologised for any inconvenience.
