
A woman was rescued from Maryport harbour by a passer-by.
Emergency services were called at around 2.10pm yesterday, Tuesday February 11.
Whitehaven Coastguard Rescue Team, Cumbria police, Maryport Rescue, the North West Ambulance Service and the Great North Air Ambulance all attended.
The woman had been pulled out of the water by a member of the public.
Medical care was then provided to the woman, and she was then taken by stretcher to an ambulance and was taken to hospital for treatment.
