Robbie Dee and Dean Winters will take centre stage for the return of panto to Carlisle’s Sands Centre in 2025.

The centre has been unable to put on its annual family favourite for the last two years after RAAC was found in the roof of the auditorium. Work is currently underway to replace the roof,

This Christmas, audiences of all ages are invited to join Peter Pan – the boy who never grows up – on an unforgettable adventure to Neverland.

Follow Peter, Wendy, and their friends as they soar through the skies and meet some fantastical characters along the way: Tinker Bell, the Lost Children, Tiger Lily, and the mischievous Pirates, led by the dastardly Captain Hook and his sidekick Smee.

With plenty of action, humour, and a ticking crocodile hot on their heels, it’s the perfect festive treat for the whole family.

Robbie said: “It’s true! Oh yes, it is! Pantomime is back at The Sands this Christmas. I am beyond excited to tell you that me and the gang are back
this December with Peter Pan, and we cannot wait to be back on The Sands stage.

“To make up for lost time, we are going to make this the biggest and best panto in the history of The Sands. Tickets are already on sale, so make sure you, your family and loved ones get yours as soon as possible.

“So many people have commented how their Christmas has just not been the same over the last couple of years.

“So Christmas is going to be back to normal. Panto is back at The Sands, and what a show to come back with – Peter Pan!

“As the resident panto dame, I will be playing Mrs. Smee, and I’m now off into town for some new frocks, fresh make-up, and to collect my new custom bra made by Cubby Construction. We can’t wait to see you, your family and friends at The Sands this Christmas.”

Dean said: “I’m so excited to be coming back to The Sands Centre this Christmas. It’s going to be absolutely epic – the biggest show that we’ve ever staged! We’ve
missed it for two years, and it’s so exciting to be back at The Sands with all the old gang, especially my mate Robbie.

“We can’t wait to be back in Carlisle this December, and we are looking forward to seeing everybody there. Come and see us this Christmas.”

Peter Pan takes place between Thursday December 11 and Wednesday December 31.

Tickets are on sale online at thesandscentre.co.uk or by calling 01228 633766.
