People are being warned that two heavy loads will be moved by road in Barrow in the coming days.

BAE Systems said both loads will go from Associated British Ports to its Central Yard, via Michaelson Road and Bridge Road.

The first will be on the afternoon of Friday, March 7. The second will be on the afternoon of Sunday, March 9.

Cumbria Constabulary will close part of Michaelson Road and part of Bridge Road outside BAE Systems main reception in Barrow, Cumbria, for around one hour on each occasion.
