
A man has appeared at court today after police stopped a vehicle on the M6, which led to the discovery of £100,000 in cash.
Officers stopped a vehicle travelling southbound on the M6 near Southwaite Services yesterday afternoon, March 6.
During enquiries, officers found and seized around £100,000 in cash.
Marius Iordache, 30, of Russet Way, Bedfordshire, was charged with a money laundering offence.
He appeared before Carlisle Magistrates Court today, Friday March 7, and was released with bail conditions ahead of a further hearing.
