An event to introduce neurodivergent people to organisations who can support them will be held this month.
The Reconnect Day has been organised by the Triple A Project and will take place at the Methodist Church Penrith on March 18 from 10am to 3.30pm.
Around 20 organisations, from autistic creatives to local authorities and health providers, are expected to attend.
Sheila Gregory, Triple A chair, said: “We are expecting an interesting and exciting day. People will meet old friends from across Cumbria, as well as meeting new people from the autistic community and finding out what support a variety of organisations can offer.
“Our last event two years ago was really buzzing with excitement and we are expecting the same this year.”
There also be sessions where people can share ideas and hear latest news about developments in the autistic community.
There will also be art displays and live folk music.
