A free touch rugby day will be held in the Lake District next month.
Hosted by Ambleside Rugby Club, it will take place on Saturday April 19 and the Cumbria Rugby Union-backed event will allow all levels of rugby, mixed sex teams, talent spotting, building of positive rugby connections, and a well earned social.
It is open to anyone over 16 and organiser Clare Gelderd said there was already interest for senior touch teams with players aged up to 70.
Alongside epic amounts of rugby will be catering on site by Liz’s Country Kitchen and Uncle Sam’s Ice Cream van, making it a perfect family day out, Clare added.
