
The West Cumberland Choral Society is pleased to present an eclectic mix of music in its spring concert on Saturday April 5.
The performance, in the ancient setting of St Bees Priory, begins at 7.30pm with Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in its original form for female voices, strings and continuo.
The concert will be conducted by Margie Simper and includes American Spirituals and a medley of songs from the musical Sister Act.
Refreshments will be served after the concert when raffle prizes will be announced (proceeds to go to Hospice at Home West Cumbria.)
Tickets £10 (students £5, under- 18s free) are available on the door.
