Building waste including asbestos sheets have been fly-tipped in the South Cumbrian countryside.
The waste is part of three fly-tipping incidents that have recently taken place near in and around Kendal, Westmorland & Furness council said.
The authority is now appealing for witnesses and any information people may have in relation to the incidents.

People are asked to consider if they have recently employed a company to remove garden waste or old buildings, or to repair a roof, or if similar work has taken place at a nearby property they are aware of.
Gilpin Bridge – Tuesday March 4
The first incident took place on Tuesday March 4 near Gilpin Bridge, off the A590.
Corrugated asbestos sheets thought to be taken from a small shed or building were dumped. They are thought to have been removed from a building over the previous day.

A single blue slate tile was also found. The council said this may indicate it was part of a new roofing project.
The Helm, near Kendal – Tuesday March 4
On the same day, Tuesday March 4, waste from a roofing project or repair was also found dumped near The Helm, near Kendal, on the footpath at Hawes Lane.

The Helm is a low fell home to a rare breed of fell pony, native to Cumbria and is a considered a significant beauty spot in the area.
The council said it believed this incident took place at around 7pm and a white transit van was seen driving up and down the lane at this time.
Anyone who may have dash cam footage of a white van in the Barrows Green area from the same evening is asked to come forward.
The authority added that it appears old pebbledash render was removed and replaced with new red and white dash.
Evidence recovered at the scene by council officers suggests a link to a roofing firm in the Lancaster area.
Little Urswick – Tuesday March 11
On Tuesday March 11, near Little Urswick and old wooden shed and shredded tree branches were found abandoned.

The council believes the incident happened some time between 7am and 5pm. The waste was also dumped on top of hay bales used for local horses.
