Police are investigating an attempted burglary in Carlisle.
The incident happened in the area of Knowefield Avenue, in Stanwix, at around 10.15pm on March 9.
A male wearing jogging bottoms and a hooded top was captured on CCTV approaching a house.
Officers are asking local residents to check their CCTV or doorbell cameras, for any sightings of the male.
People are reminded to remain vigilant and keep doors and windows locked. Simple precautions can prevent offences from taking place.
