A lawnmower, clothing and paint rollers were among the items dumped near a South Lakeland hamlet at the weekend.
Westmorland & Furness Council said the waste was fly-tipped at Arrad Foot, near Ulverston, on Sunday.
It added: “Wet paint suggests this heap of waste is linked to a recently completed job.
“The paint rollers would appear to be for masonry use – have you seen bright yellow and teal paint being applied to a property near you?
“Clothing and a red lawnmower were also found among this large quantity of waste deposited in the lane by the old Armadale Hotel from around 4pm.”

The authority added that council officers were investigating after retrieving evidence from the site.
