Harrington’s Brewery House was closed yesterday due to a small kitchen fire.
In a post on Facebook yesterday, Sunday March 23, the popular pub said: “Unfortunately, we had a small fire in our kitchen this morning.
“All staff are safe and well, but our kitchen is out of action, so we will have to close today.
“We are in the process of trying to contact everyone who had a table booked with us today.
“We would like to thank Cumbria Fire & Rescue for their quick response, or it could have been much worse.
“We will do our best to be up and running as quickly as possible.
“We thank everyone for their patience understanding and continued support at this difficult time.”
