Leading pop artist Dirty Hans will unveil his latest collection at a Lake District gallery.
The internationally renowned artist, who was born and brought up in Liverpool, has chosen Windermere Fine Art to launch 20 new pieces of work.
He will be in the gallery to meet and greet art fans and chat about his inspiration and new work, on April 11 and April 12.
It will be the first time anyone can see the new pieces which include sculpture, digital print on aluminium, wood resin and other original digital works.
Dirty Hans originally made a name for himself with eye catching artwork featuring celebrities in a Pop Art-style.
Some of his most notable work includes a portrait of King Charles dressed as Elvis on a postage stamp and the late Queen Elizabeth on a motorcycle.
Dawn Titherington, owner of Windermere Fine Art, said: “Dirty Hans always creates work that is striking, exciting, unique and we can’t wait to see it in real life for ourselves and introduce it to the world. It’s amazing that he is fully self taught and never had an art lesson in his life.

“I think that that freedom of expression and influence from pop culture is apparent in his work.”
Dirty Hans said: “If I was trying to put a theme onto this latest collection then I would say it is about power and nobility. This can be in an obvious way with someone like Winston Churchill but when visitors see how I’ve played with the connotation of the 1950s housewife they will see her power shining through as well.
“Dawn and Matthew at the gallery have been hugely supportive of me and I would now say they are one of my biggest dealers globally so I’m looking forward to meeting art collectors.
“It’s always a pleasure to return to Windermere, it’s a beautiful town and I always leave feeling inspired by the area and the people I meet.”
The Dirty Hans show runs from April 11 until April 25.
